Discover the Latest K-pop Groups That Just Debuted: A Guide for Enthusiasts
As a long-time stan for K-pop, I am always eager to discover new boy groups that have just debuted. Recently, several promising groups have made their mark on the scene, each bringing their unique sound and style. In this article, we’ll explore some of the most notable groups that debuted in the past year, along with upcoming groups that are highly anticipated by fans.
Favorite New Boy Groups
Cravity and Too are two of my new favorite boy groups. Cravity’s debut album showcased a diverse range of genres, from RB to hip-hop, and even softer, more soothing styles. Meanwhile, Too, while their debut album wasn't my top pick, impressed me with their cover of 'Rising Sun' from ROAD TO KINGDOM. These groups, as well as MCND, Cignature, and Treasure, have captured my attention with their distinct styles.
Renowned Women Groups and Their Debut
ITZY and TXT are definitely among the most popular and talented girl groups. ITZY has a unique style that sets them apart from other groups, with more challenging choreography and a distinctive fashion sense. Their debut and comeback albums stand out for their variety and uniqueness. TXT, on the other hand, gained popularity as a brother group of BTS and has a great musical selection, with impressive choreography as well. Everglow has also won my heart with their exceptional style, music, and choreography.
Strongest Debutants of 2018
The groups that debuted in 2018 and early 2019 are some of the best rookie groups ever. Among them, ATEEZ, TREI, ONEUS, Gidle, Onlyoneof, Bandit, and Everglow have impressed me with their debut albums and performances. These groups brought a fresh and innovative approach to K-pop, drawing both new and existing fans.
Upcoming Groups: AB6IX and C9Boyz
For those eagerly awaiting new boy groups, AB6IX stands out. The group has already begun writing and composing their tracks, with their maknae, Lee Daehwi, contributing to almost all of the songs in their debut. They have also gained significant anticipation as their debut is nearing on May 22. C9Boyz, another highly anticipated group, is rumored to debut in July. Centered around Bae Jinyoung, who previously debuted with Wanna One, and featuring ex-trainees from YG Entertainment, C9Boyz is set to make a strong impact with their lineup.
Conclusion
While some groups have impressed me with their debut, others are yet to make a lasting impression. However, staying patient and waiting for the newly debuting groups like AB6IX and C9Boyz is worth it. These groups are bringing a fresh perspective to K-pop and are likely to gain significant popularity in the future. Whether you’re a long-time fan or just starting to explore the K-pop world, there’s always something new and exciting to discover.
